IOT/WT Innovation World Cup 2017/18

The Winner of the Security Award by Gemalto is IoTech Swiss: Matteo Mazzero, Daniele Sammartino with the project COLIBRI.

COLIBRI is the first plug ‘n’ play AI based solution that makes flying safer. It can predict in advance, the conditions persistent in a flight’s operation that can possibly lead to accidents. Pilots are notified before it is too late to act upon.

UKRIA – UK Rail Industry Award 2018

AeroLiner 3000 shortlisted for the United Kingdom Rail Industry Association UKRIA Award.

Andreas Vogler Studio is shortlisted for this year’s UK Rail Industry Awards in the category “Design Innovation”. Now in its fifth year, the UK Rail Industry Awards continues to bring together the leaders and decision-makers running the rail industry for the sector’s biggest and most prestigious celebration. The event recognizes the hard work and achievement of the dedicated organizations, teams, and individuals working tirelessly to deliver an efficient and robust rail network, which continues to be one of the safest in Europe. The prizes will be announced on the evening of March 22 in London.

German Design Award 2018

Jury statement: The bright, dynamic design of the AeroLiner 3000 communicates high-tech and the future externally as well as internally. The large windows with their striking struts let abundant light into the spacious passenger cabin, which is further enhanced by the light-coloured furnishings. An extremely high-quality concept and an intelligent use of space that meets the passengers’ need for light and openness perfectly.

Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2017

The AeroLiner 3000 train, presented as a world premiere at InnoTrans 2016 has been awarded the prestigious design award Red Dot: Design Concept 2017. The Jury awarded the innovative design concept as a model for future trains. The architectural and design practice Andreas Vogler Studio designed and developed the first double-deck high-speed train for the UK loading gauge in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and built a demonstrator with the South German company GETA mBH.

Finalist: Tomorrow’s Train design Today – LPH-2 (2nd Phase)

AV Studio is happy to announce, that we are one of the 3 finalists identified for further funded development of our double-decker high-speed train design AeroLiner 3000 for the UK rail network. AV Studio has successfully completed an in-depth feasibility study for a new double-decker high-speed train design together with the German Aerospace Center Institute of Vehicle Concepts DLR in Stuttgart. This also continues the history of successful train designers based in Munich.

Selected: Tomorrow’s Train Design Today – LPH-1 (1st Phase)

The Munich based architecture AV Studio together with the German Aerospace Center DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V.) has been short-listed to propose new design solutions to improve passenger rolling stock across the UK rail network. The studio’s AeroLiner 3000 concept follows the consequent application of lightweight thinking into the Train world.

48 entries were received by the deadline and the Judging Panel met on 11 June to assess the designs. Interviews were subsequently held with a long list of designers and following these a shortlist agreed by the Judging Panel.

Testimonial for UNICEF

Matteo Mazzero Testimonial for UNICEF. In Arsiè, (BL), Italy a particular and significant endowment that has had starring the drivers of Team Veneto at the conference on Saturday. This the Federal National Council Ivano Zatta, and one of the main founders and supporters of the Venetian training, the five young Mazzero Matteo, Alessandro Dalle Carbonare, Andrea Zanotto, Eric Rebellato and Manuel Bortolazzo were officially appointed UNICEF ambassador by the Coordinator of the Veneto Enduro Team, Tony Mori, and the president-elect Ambassador UNICEF  of Treviso Mrs. Mariella Andreatta.
